Domain Registration

If you are getting a web site with Business Geeks, chances are you will need a domain name.

New Domain Names

If you are getting a new web site with a new domain name, you will need to register that domain. You can do this using our domain registration facility. All you have to do is:

  1. register yourself as a member
  2. register your domain (paying via PayPal, you may use your credit card)
To register your domain now, click here. You will see it says Barnes-Open; that's OK, it's Steve Barnes' old trading name - it works just fine.

Transferring Your Domain to Business Geeks

If you already have a web site and are transferring it to us, we will provide you with the details of the server your site will be hosted on. Your domain registration needs to be updated to reflect our servers hosting your web site. You do this by changinbg the 'name-servers' on your domain registration. There are normally two name servers on a registration, and they generally look something like ns1.businessgeeks.net.au and ns2.businessgeeks.net.au. We'll be sure to let you know what to update your registation to.
