Email Marketing, by nature, is a form of advertising that promotes a product or service, or at least promotes awareness of the same.
Newsletter Marketing is all about communicating with your new and prospective customers in a way which DOES NOT SELL anything.
So before launch into buying an email campaign tool, and having a graphic designer produce wonderfully attractive (and expensive) imagery for you, stop and consider which type of campaign you want to run.
Both campaigns are effective if used correctly, but they need to be planned and executed for the appropriate outcome.
